A method to save performance, where the 3D compositing space / preview is not needed while the show is running (often used in installations).
This option can be found in: Settings / General at the bottom - checkbox "Disable workspace rendering".
In this section you will also find some helpful tools to save performance in Preview.
User Interface Refresh Rate:
Allows you to reduce the GUI refresh rate.
Limit preview target size to: Reduces the resolution of your preview in your 3D compositing room to
