Notch offers an implementation for NVIDIA's Virtual Background technology, which is commonly used in live events for IMAG effects. For more information on use in Notch, please refer to the Notch Manual.

There are some prerequisites to running Notch Blocks containing this PostFx node in PIXERA. You need an NVIDIA RTX GPU as well as the NVIDIA Video Effects SDK and AR SDK to be installed on all servers that are using this Notch Block on output or in preview.

Warning: NVIDIA Virtual Background and ONNX AI models are not guaranteed compatible, so should not be contained in the same Notch Block.

NVIDIA Downloads

NVIDIA Virtual Background requires the Display Driver version 520.00 or Higher. This means that PIXERA minis and some PIXERA One/Two Gen1 servers may not be able to run this effect, depending on the drivers used. Please reference our recommended drivers article.

Knowing the model of GPU and that your driver is sufficient, you can download the SDKs from this page.

If you want to test your SDK install with PIXERA, please see the links below to download test files. This Notch Block is set to ‘Blend with Alpha Channel’ as described in Notch Block Basics.
