Generic Screen Shapes

The library of generic 3D screen objects has been extended. For example, there is now a built-in dome object so that no custom 3D models are needed to prepare dome projection projects.

Editing Generic Screens

With the new screen models, it is now also possible to adjust certain parameters such as vertices in order to adapt the geometry.

These settings can be found in the Inspector of the 3D object, in “Mesh Properties”

Changing the parameter directly changes the shape or the amount of vertices of the Generic Screen object.

On the “Generic Dome 90” model it is also possible to flip the normals - this means you can decide from which side you want to project on.

This setting can be found in the inspector after selecting the dome in the workspace

NOTE

Please note, that the new objects, especially “circle, box and cylinder" are not meant to replace a properly made 3D object in e.g. Blender.
The objects in PIXERA contain too fewer vertices and are therefore not well suited for projection mappings.
However, they are intended to be a simple method of visualizing things without having to create a custom object.
