Output flickers at regular intervals
Symptoms
Very fast flickering alternating with the texture and black on the output.
Do you use an intel graphics card on your system? → This is a known issue with intel cards.

Solution
Set the multisampling option of the screen to 1. This option ensures, for example, that layers are rendered cleanly when they move. With multisampling 1, visible aliasing may occur at layer edges
This has to be done for every screen.
