This article explains the general Control settings and their meaning. You can find them under Settings → Control.

Network Adapter Settings
This is the adapter where the WebUI is hosted and modules will run on when “default” is selected.

Tip
This can manually be set to 0.0.0.0 to open on all adapter
What is used here as a network adapter is used as the default in the modules.

Warning
Changes to adapter or aliases require restart of PIXERA
Direct API settings
Direct API Reporting Mode
Defines how values from the core are reported to the GUI.
It is intended to reduce GUI load if many incoming values cause performance issues.
Automatically Update Direct API
The Direct API caches information from the engine to quickly send data when needed. This cache can become outdated, so this setting monitors conditions that may cause stale data and refreshes the engine-specific information when necessary.

Control Project Group Settings
Control Project Name
This defines the names for Control Group , the Control Project Name will be used as the name of your local control system
Participate in Control Group
This is to create a group of multiple machine in the same control space Control Group

API Browser
The Control API Browser is recommended for setting Element Actions remotely. It gives a searchable interface and various settings for the action's inputs.

Allowlist
The Allowlist security feature restricts certain API calls.
