This is a description of all the Timeline to Control options for passing data/triggers.
There are two possible ways, the cue based and the data layer based workflow.
Data Layer based
Data layers provide several advantages over cues. For instance, their container- and keyframe-based workflow allows for greater flexibility, more overview and faster programming during show creation. A good example is a shutter control data layer, which accurately displays the shutter's status at all times—even during programming. This means you don’t need to scrub through cue's just to verify or trigger the correct state.
The disadvantage is that the setup is a bit more complex.
- create PDTF → Create Custom PDTF
- Connect Data to Control →Sending PDTF data to Pixera Control
- Add Control logic.
In the last step, logics are added so that the different values are processed. This step can differ from case to case
Cue Based
- "CueAppliedActions“ Module
Warning
This module may lose the connection if the name of the cues is changed
- "apply“ Action in the Pixera Module
